Mosier Valley, Tex. » Adventurer director Crystal Harriott, at the Mosier Valley church, took the Mosier Valley Eaglet Adventurers, along with some parents, to the Fort Worth Zoo. The Eager Beavers worked on their “Animals and Animal Homes” honor, while the Adventurers worked on their “Friend of Nature” honor.  The children had fun watching the monkeys play and hearing the parrots laugh. Some of the children's favorite animals included the elephant, the zebra, and the female eagle that seemed to be shaking her head at us. The trip will be one the children’s most memorable moments of 2011.

The Mosier Valley Eagles Pathfinders Club graduated six Pathfinders to the Friends class at its May 21 Investiture. The main service was conducted by the Pathfinders, with Zach Trujillo, Jared McKenzie, and Joseph Simmons delivering a heartfelt message on the Pathfinder law. The Investiture program was led by director Don Simmons and assistant area coordinator Bonnie Jackson. Each Pathfinder shared their favorite Pathfinder moments, and was challenged to live up to the Pathfinder pledge and law.
