The Metairie Cubs and Hot Springs Blue Jays each earned first place at Arkansas-Lousiana Conference's first Adventure Bible Games.

The Arkansas-Louisiana Conference held its first Adventurer Bible Game on March 22, bringing together 16 Adventurer clubs for a family-centered Bible knowledge competition designed for children in grades 3 and 4.

The annual event encourages Bible study through a team format in which children answer questions from assigned Scripture passages alongside parents or guardians, who answer one out of every five questions.

During the event, teams answered approximately 50 multiple-choice and true-or-false questions based on the biblical books and characters studied throughout the year. The goal is not simply to win, but to encourage families to consistently study and apply Scripture together.

Six clubs advanced to the conference-level competition, held May 17 in Shreveport. The Metairie Cubs and Hot Springs Blue Jays each earned first place.

We thank God for guiding us and sending His Holy Spirit to work with every family in our conference. We also want to thank all the coordinators, directors, and parents who made this event possible. Your dedication and support truly make a difference in the lives of our children. Additionally, we want to express our deep gratitude to Arkansas-Lousiiana Conference Youth & Young Adult Director David Craig for being a vital part of the Adventurer ministry.

We hope with God’s help that this program will continue to grow each year, fulfilling its main purpose: for families throughout our conference to dedicate time to reading the Bible together.
