News articles from churches, schools and ministries may be submitted to the Record magazine for publication consideration. Articles submitted through this form will be forwarded to the corresponding conference communication department for their consideration and approval. News articles should highlight ministry and outreach activities, be of general interest to a broad audience and contain complete information (first and last names of individuals, full names of organizations, etc.). We recommend articles be 200-500 words and include 2-5 great photos.

The printed edition of the Record magazine features obituary notices in the Back Pages section. The Record offers three types of obituaries: essential, expanded and fully expanded. Essential obituaries include basic information necessary for an obituary notice and is a free service. An expanded obituary includes additional text for a longer notice for a $25 fee OR can include a photo for a $25 fee. A fully expanded obituary would include both a photo and expanded text for $50. A representative will contact you for payment if you indicate an expanded obituary below. Please note that paid obituaries will be edited for clarity and obituary submissions will be submitted for approval by the deceased's corresponding conference before publication.
Announcements that are of general interest, promote free events and encompass the whole Southwestern Union territory can be submitted for consideration in the print edition of the Record, as well as milestones announcements. These include academy alumni weekends, church and school anniversaries, marriage milestones and birth, birthday and wedding announcements.
