A personal invitation — Editorial

Please consider this your personal invitation to attend the Southwestern Union Ministries Convention on August 21-24, 2008. This year, our ministries team has prepared a whole buffet of ministry training seminars, a wide selection of presentations that will bless you personally and strengthen your ministries in your home church.

This convention is one of my favorite events in our union. It is both inspiring and humbling to spend a weekend with folks who give unselfishly of their time and energy all year long to reach out to their communities and to make their churches a place where both children and adults feel secure, welcome, and blessed.
