Jesus Our Master Guide

SHREVEPORT, LA. – On May 13-15, 2022, the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference (ARKLA) will host its first ever Master Guide Camporee on the premises of the ARKLA Conference office. Newly elected Conference Master Guide Coordinator Brenda Perez is spearheading the organization of this event. Master Guides will bring their tents and other gear and will sleep amidst the beautiful, tall pine trees on the conference property. The speaker will be David Craig, ARKLA Conference youth director, and the theme, “Jesus, our Master Guide.”

Master Guides will participate in different activities and receive leadership training throughout the weekend, along with a Master Guide Investiture ceremony. The Master Guide ministry in the Arkansas-Louisiana Conference is still relatively new, and our prayer is that it will continue to flourish and grow with God’s help and the commitment of the leaders and members.
