Myanmar children use the New Beginnings multimedia series as a guide as they present Bible studies in neighboring households.

A group of children from the Myanmar Adventist Fellowship is taking their faith beyond the church walls, visiting homes across their community to share Bible messages, offer prayer, sing, and invite neighbors to learn more about Adventist beliefs. Using the New Beginnings multimedia series as their guide, the young witnesses have combined courage, compassion, and clear teaching to make a visible difference in the neighborhoods they serve.

The outreach, organized by local leaders and supported by parents and volunteers, pairs short, age-appropriate presentations with personal conversation and prayer. Teams of children visit households in small groups, present brief Bible messages drawn from the New Beginnings curriculum, and follow up with singing and prayer.

The program is designed to teach the children how to witness and how to open gentle, respectful conversations about faith with neighbors. “We want our children to know that sharing Jesus can be simple, loving, and respectful,” said one leader involved in the program. “They’re learning how to speak from the heart, listen to others, and pray for real needs they encounter.”

The New Beginnings series provides a structured, multimedia approach that helps young presenters explain core Adventist beliefs in accessible language. Its combination of short videos, discussion prompts, and review materials has helped the children prepare confident, clear presentations.

Safety protocols are in place for all visits. Organizers also provide debriefing sessions after outreach activities so children can reflect on their experiences, ask questions, and receive pastoral encouragement.

Children participating in the outreach program travel in groups, are accompanied by at least one adult, and follow clear guidelines for respectful engagement.

Residents who received visits described the encounters as warm and thoughtful. Several households welcomed the children and their adult mentors into their homes for prayer and conversation; others accepted literature or invitations to future community events.

The goal is not to pressure anyone but to share hope and be a visible expression of Christ’s love. One neighbor commented, “They came with smiles and songs. It was encouraging to see children so willing to share something that matters to them.”

Beyond community impact, the outreach is shaping the spiritual lives of the children themselves. The program intentionally pairs practical evangelism skills with discipleship, encouraging children to live out the message they share. Parents and leaders note increased confidence, a deeper understanding of Scripture, and a growing sense of responsibility among participants

This outreach would not be possible without the dedication of our families and leaders. Their time, prayer, and practical support have made this ministry a blessing to many.

Plans are underway to expand the program’s schedule and offer additional training sessions for new participants.
