Grimsley Elected Education Vice President

The Texas Conference elected Robyn-Anna Grimsley, Ed.D. to be the conference’s vice president for Education at the executive committee’s regularly scheduled in-person meeting on June 25 in Alvarado, Tex.
Grimsley has been an elementary school teacher at The Oaks Adventist Christian School in Cypress, Tex., a principal at Fort Worth Adventist Junior Academy, and an associate superintendent for the Texas Conference during her more than 20 years in educational work. She began in 2002 as a third-grade teacher at Mitchell Boulevard Elementary School in the Fort Worth Independent School District.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Tex., and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Tex. This year, she completed her Doctor of Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Tex.
